GoDaddy may not immediately release your domain name even after email authorization. Our clients reported that they had to go through an extra step to “OK” a domain transfer from the GoDaddy Dashbaord after verifying the transfer request via email. Here are the steps to follow in order to “OK” a pending transfer from GoDaddy:
- Sign in to your GoDaddy account.
- Select the “Domain Manager” option from the left column. (Your list of GoDaddy domains is displayed.)
- Don’t click on the domain name to be transferred, but move your mouse over the “Domains” tab at the top of the page.
- Select the “Pending Transfers” option.
- Click on the checkbox next to the domain name.
- Click on “Accept/Decline” option above the checkbox.
- Select “Accept” and press the appropriate button. (This completes the transfer process.)
